1. Gwen Stefani
The number one creative fashion designer would have to be Gwen Stefani. Her designs are original, inspiring and classy. She is a Grammy award winning artist who has had success on the fashion scene since 2004 with her fashion label L.A.M.B. It stands for Love. Angel. Music. Baby and sells high end apparel, accessories and fragrances. She made over $100 million in her first 4 years and has set the bar very high for any other celebrities trying to make it in the fashion business. She also has a second line of clothing called Harajuku Lovers that makes women and childrens clothing as well as watches and handbags.
2. Nicole Richie
Having been surrounded by industry leaders her whole life, Nicole developed an appreciation for fashion very early on. She launched her brands House of Harlow 1960 and Winter Kate in 2009, both of which have proven to be extremely popular with a huge celebrity following. From edgy accessories, bags, shoes and sunglasses to a trendsetting array of beautiful clothes she has every aspect of the clothing industry covered. She hasn’t stopped there though, Nicole has now designed a collection sold exclusively in Macy’s for all her fans to enjoy at very reasonable prices.
3. Elle Macpherson
Elle Macpherson has been designing and delivering luxuriously sexy lingerie for 23 years and doesn’t look like stopping anytime soon. Her lingerie brand Elle Macpherson Intimates became a remarkable international success and was the single best-selling lingerie in the UK and Australia. Her Intimates brand has continued with strong growth and preserved it’s high brand recognition because of her ability to continually produce beautiful, feminine lingerie women want to wear.
4. Justin Timberlake
While JT hasn’t been busy on the music scene for the last few years, he has been busy on the big screen and also making a name for himself in the fashion industry designing premium jeans, jackets and tops. His brand William Rast which he co-founded with childhood friend Trace Ayala has been making a mark on the US market and will do so even further now that they have formed a limited-time partnership with Target. William Rast also sponsored the #98 car of Dan Wheldon which one the 2011 Indianapolis 500.
5. Stella McCartney
Stella McCartney was a well known personality long before her fashion line made her even more famous. With her father being a part of the Beatles phenomena, her future was already looking promising from a very young age. Stella showed her first collection in Paris in 2001 and now designs womens and kids clothing, accessories, lingerie, eyewear and fragrances. So if you are looking for an uber cool t shirt design or an elegant cocktail dress then Stella has it all covered.
You will find these brands in most major department stores or online shops. Now it’s your opportunity to dress like the stars without needing their bank balance to pay for it.
